"My experience was super fun and relaxed because he talked me through everything from poses to where I was standing. I liked the availability to go outside and stay inside. sneak peek : Claire [Irondale]

After many rainy days on and off - the grass has been growing like crazy, same with the grasses we have on our studio property. Claire brought an instrument* in for her senior session and we decided to take it outside to the field for a change of scenery. This is classic, we might recommend this exact pose and artistic filter on a canvas print. I can see it hanging over a fireplace somewhere! Stunning, Claire!!

sneak peek : Jay [Concordia]

We had a blast with Jay's senior session. Being able to capture ones passion in a visual form, in this case Jay's skating, brings pleasure to me as an artist. I can't image the rolls of film I would have burned through trying to get this just right - all the polaroids - the hours manipulating the light sources, push processing, waiting for results from the 'lab'. Anybody here remember film? Yeah, old school!

"I have been ice skating since I was 4 years old, for a total of 13 years of figure skating at White Bear Lake Sports Center. Ice skating is my passion in life! I wanted to capture that same passion in photos. Lance Hill seized the passion and more! He captured the energy and fun in ice skating. Every pose in every photo, I could tell that Lance knew what he was doing. He made the pictures really come to life! Thank you SO much Lance Hill! These pictures really embody what I was looking for! I'm so glad I chose to take my senior pictures here!" -Jay

Last Thursday we had the pleasure of photographing Miss Becca for her senior portraits - her beautiful dark hair contrasted PERFECTLY with this dark olive green top - and the fashion scarf was a good idea to mix things up a little bit!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of photographing Sierra for her high school senior portraits. We haven't even gone through all of her images yet, and the favorites just keep piling up! She is extremely photogenic - here are a few of Lance's top picks.
