sneak peek : Cole [senior from Montana!]

Cole is from Montana - he goes to Great Falls H.S. and we were fortunate enough to take his senior portraits!  He plays soccer in the great state of Montana - and below you will find a few of our favorite images from his session!

studio question of the day.... what clothes make me look lighter/heavier?

Above all, we want you feeling comfortable and wearing clothes that portray your individual style.

Take these tips with a grain of salt.  Some pattern (plaid top with jeans and cowboy boots or maybe subtle stripes) does look good, it's just the very obvious patterns and logos (talking to you Mr. Abercrombie!) that make people look at your shirt and not the person in the picture!

"I had a great experience!! Lance was very helpful and made me feel comfortable.  He was thoughtful and kind!  I liked going outside and taking photos with the elements that complimented my outfits.  I liked that he took the lighting into consideration and I really liked taking pictures by the water!  I had an amazing time!  I have a pageant coming up - there is a photogenic contest and last year I got 1st place in this contest.  The pageant is July 28-29 - I want pictures that stand out from the rest!  Something to impress!" - Ellie

"This was very nice!  I liked all the different backgrounds - it was fun to watch!  My favorite set was Ellie in her white dress by the door.  I also liked the yellow dress in the stone window.  Shots by the lake were so beautiful.  Lance did an outstanding job!" - Ellie's mom

"I loved the outdoor pictures with the natural lighting.  The water shot was my favorite and it will be very memorable for my senior pictures!  Also, having the chance to do dance pictures was amazing.  I enjoyed the chance to get some jump shots professionally photographed!  It was a great experience!" - Kat

studio question of the day.... will my school take your image for the yearbook?

Some schools have requirements for yearbook images.  Specific backgrounds, head and shoulders, etc. We are successfully able to submit yearbook images for Mounds View, Irondale, Centennial and many private schools.  

The best thing to do if you have questions is to contact your yearbook advisor or yearbook staff and ask if they are willing to accept other photographer's images.  

We are more than happy to work with the yearbook advisors to create images that follow their guidelines for yearbook acceptance.

Do not fall into the trap of believing the contract studios are the only option for yearbook submission.
