"The experience was so much fun, I liked being able to be indoors and outdoors on an overcast day. Lance was great with offering wonderful and creative ideas. My favorite set was outdoors on the swing!" - Ashlee
"The experience was wonderful. When seeing the shots on the back of the camera, it made me want to cry! So beautiful! Irondale yearbook has opened pictures up to include any image...finally! I'm excited to see the choir robe picture in the yearbook." - Robin, Ashlee's mom
sneak peek : Jacques [Roseville]
"Jacques' brother, Conor, had his senior pictures taken by Lance last year and now it's Jacque's turn to have a terrific photo-taking experience. Lance uses so many unique, creative ways when shooting both indoors and out. A great and fun experience... thanks Lance!" - Beth, Jacque's mom

work hard, play hard...
We decided to take a little break from the crazy senior season that is upon us and got tickets to the Kenny Chesney/Zac Brown Band concert tonight at the Target Field. Talk about a beautiful evening! This place is absolutely packed! There's a strong summer breeze, the music is playing, we're amongst great company... life is good!
We are so blessed to be able to have our own business and be able to take time out and enjoy one another. Thank you to all of our clients for helping us get to this point!
Have a beautiful weekend,
Lance & Ceil

finalist for...Entrepreneur of the Year!
We had the privilege of photographing the Kueppers family recently. Mr. Kuepper is a finalist for the 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year award thru Ernst & Young. Given the formal event that took place for the award ceremony, they decided to capture that family portrait they've been putting off. They were looking for something on the casual side.
It was a huge honor to help capture this family portrait, and he resides right here in our own neighborhood! Congratulations to Brian!

senior spotlight : Lianna [Irondale]
Lianna has graduated from Irondale and is off to do big things with her life! We wanted to spotlight her senior session from the Class of 2013 and share the testimonials she and her mother gave us. Thank you VERY much for coming to us, Lianna - we wish you all the best on your future!
"I was definitely leery of a "photo session". I've never been one of those girls who takes tons of pictures with tons of poses, so I wasn't sure how this would go. I had so much fun, though! He was so precise without getting... I don't know, demanding or something. Lance made me feel photogenic while he was taking the shots which made me more confident and relaxed. It was a lot of fun and the time flew by. I cannot wait to see the pictures!" - Lianna
"We found Lance Hill Photography by viewing grad pictures of my daughters' friends - and they were amazing! He brought out all of the hidden beauty and personality in those girls. I have never taken Lianna to a professional photographer all of these years but high school graduation is a special occasion and I wanted her pictures to be perfect. As I sit here and watch her photos being taken - I can see how much fun she is having with Lance. She was a little nervous walking in but now she is completely at ease - jumping in the air, laying on the floor, laughing, smiling and hanging with her best pal, Buddy (her dog!). I am thrilled with what I see so far!" - Doris, Lianna's mother
